What Our Clients Say

  • Dignity Health

“Thank you for being on top of all of it all along, you guys have been wonderful to work with!”

  • Chase

“I have been in the field since Monday, visiting and punching sites for both of my sign vendors. The product that Signtech is turning out and installing is so far superior that I feel I need to put this in writing to you! The quality of their paint finishing (nice even gloss levels, no trash in the paint, no streaking in the paint), cleanliness of signs (few exposed screw heads, signs wiped clean upon install), etc. is fantastic. They also do a great job with the landscaping and electrical – when they install a ground sign where none previously existed, the landscaping is almost perfect, and you cannot tell where the electrical line was even trenched. They add concrete bases when the contract does not specify that they must and this extra added touch will provide much longer life for our monument signs in grassy areas. They “care” about how the projects turn out. I’m also noticing that the paint/patch is superb – there is hardly a punch item left to deal with.”

  • Boston Barricade

“My installer mentioned that the signs last time were the most professionally and well packed he has ever worked with, great job guys!”

  • Jones Lang LaSalle - Microsoft Theater Rebrand at LA Live Project

“I just wanted to send you a quick note about the successful install of Phase One. Your team on-site was a pleasure to deal with, especially since we switched then back and forth on items and of course the multiple unveiling to accommodate the clients traveling schedule. They are very motivated and I am not sure if they even took a break for lunch. Sending the vinyl team out late afternoon and having one of your employees drive for five hours to send the replacement transformers for the eyebrow signs are all items that should not be overlooked. The result of course was some great illumination of the signs before sunset yesterday. Thank you again and we look forward to a successful phase two as well.”

  • Qualcomm

“Just wanted to thank you and your team for pulling off some magic! The mock up looks better than we could have ever expected. Looking forward to working with you under less stressful conditions in the future.”

  • StubHub

The team Signtech has assembled to service our account has provided another year of unwavering dedication and commitment to providing us with excellent service, a quality product, and on time installations despite the delays that can plague a construction project. I look forward to our shared success in the coming year.”

  • Apex by Sunglass Hut

“BTW - very nice working with Signtech on these Apex shops.  It is my first experience working with them and I haven’t seen results in the field yet.  But they are very good creative partners who have great technical recommendations that I would not have thought of.  They have responded immediately so far on every request.  Very good so far in this short partnership.“

  • San Diego County Office of Education

“Thanks for the patience and professionalism. This has been a much longer proposition than I had envisioned largely because the District couldn’t get their act together. The end product looks great!”

  • Chase

“Custom projects are handled well even as the scope continues to change.”

L.A. Live's Nokia Theatre changes name to Microsoft Theater with New Signtech Installation

Signtech unveiled a new signage installation for the Microsoft Theater at the 7,100-seat concert and special events venue at L.A. Live. Signtech fabricated and installed the Microsoft letterset as phase one of a multiphase rebrand project to transform the dining and entertainment hub’s 40,000-square-foot outdoor plaza into “Microsoft Square”. All signs for the Microsoft Theater and Microsoft Square rebrand were designed, engineered and fabricated 100% in-house at Signtech’s San Diego facility and our in-house crews installed the signs to provide complete turn-key service.

Signtech’s design expertise was crucial in achieving the true color of Microsoft’s logo. The 10’ logo faces had to be constructed of the right material and have a precise lighting temperature to accomplish Microsoft’s signature colors. A custom bracket system was created to hang the 6’1 Microsoft letters over edge of the theater to appear as if they were floating.

The balance of this multiphase projects includes blade signs, box office signage, VIP entrance signage and an oversized roof logo. In order for the logo to be seen by cameras in helicopters flying over the venue during events the Microsoft logo had to be 50’x50’. To ensure safety, the theater’s structural engineer was consulted to approve that roof can hold the oversized logo and that the attachment methods were could withstand high winds. A large crane will be used to hoist the 50’ logo onto the roof to set them in place. Once the roof signs is installed the multiphase project will be complete and the Microsoft Theatre and Microsoft Square rebrand will be complete.

High Profile Los Angeles CBD High Rise Signs

Signtech performed high profile install for Chase Bank in the downtown Los Angeles area. Site is located within a block of each other on Wilshire Blvd. Due to the heavy traffic flow of downtown, Signtech worked with the city and pulled permits for street closures to accommodate the cranes. Swing stages were used to attach the letters to the building.

Chase High Rise Project Description

The 108” Internal Illuminated Channel Letterset was installed atop a 37-story Mixed Use building located in the Central City West District of downtown Los Angeles. The letters were hoisted by a crane to the top of the parking structure then taken to the top of the high riser by a swing stage. The install was a strategic install due to the glass curtain wall exterior of the building.

Dignity Health - Mercy Medical Center

This 36” lettersets were installed on a nine-story medical center. The medical center provides acute care medical services. Buildings with acute care services require extra precautions due to the patients’ lack of mobility in the event of an emergency. To ensure patient safety, Signtech was required to submit their install plan to the Office of Statewide Health Planning & Development (OSHPD) for review. OSHPD reviewed the plan to approve the letter attachments and confirm that the power would not be disconnected at any point during the install. Signtech successfully got OSHPD’s approval and smoothly completed the install.
